What is a Muscle Up?

It is a Beast Skill, according to devotees on the internet. It is a combination move that incorporates a pull-up and a dip. Am I going to be able to add this to my own personal skills list someday? You bet.

My Goals:
Looking down at my weight loss ticker it says I want to be 135 lbs. That sounds like a good goal and it's obtainable.

Riding my bicycle to and from work is getting me there. 60 lbs. down.

Doing Yoga and Meditation at least 4 times a week is also something that I can do starting today.

Becoming a RaceWalker and being able to do at least 1 Muscle up is something I endeavor to do in the future.

My Program:
Stay motivated by taking the time every day to get inspired.

Personal Information:
My name is Nan and I live in the DFW area in Texas.

Go TCU Horned Frogs!

Other Information:
Sitting back with a cup of lo-cal hot cocoa or earl grey tea and a cozy mystery is bliss.

Thanks for stopping by my page to read and comment on my Smile blog. I have tried bicycling. I stopped a couple of years ago after I fell trying to get off my bike in the driveway. Since I'm pre-osteoporosis I'm really afraid of falling. I'm so short (4' 11") that it's hard to find a bike to fit me. I just bought an exercise bike a couple of weeks ago and have been riding it pretty regularly. So far I've worked up to 20 minutes, going for a goal of at least 30 every day. Thanks for the suggestion emoticon emoticon

Hi Nan,

Thanks for the goodie and congratulations, it's nice to have a chat over a cup of tea.

The snowdrops weren't at the location of 'Keeping up appearances', that was filmed at Honington Hall near Stratford-on-Avon, Warwickshire which is about 200 miles away from me but the frontage does look pretty similar so l can see why you thought it. lt was also built around the same time too.

l've been a bit poorly of late and the weather has been atrocious so l haven't done a lot of walking, l'm feeling much better now and the weather is picking up so l'm hoping to get out more pretty soon. l'm still under doctors orders to take things slowly but l feel fitter every day and fully intend to get back to my five miles a day by building it up slowly. DH has been taking me out in the car and we've done a couple of short walks but on both occasions l forgot my camera...lol...

Have a wonderful day emoticon
