As for me and my family, I'm single, never-married with two adorable pups: Boots (a 3 year old Boston Terror) and Sampson (an 9 year old Springer/Dachshund mix). I live in the greater Indianapolis / Carmel area and have lots of trails around to hike and walk. I just need the motivation to do just that!

I've been overweight for 6 years now and I'm about over it. I miss the gal I used to be and I'm praying that I can be that person once again.

I reached ONEderland during the 2013 Fall 5% Challenge and am looking to plant myself firmly in the 180s in the 2014 Spring 5% Challenge. I have been receiving a lot of encouragement from friends and family about my weight loss accomplishments and are rooting me on to reach that 165 goal.

NOTE: On 3/26/2014 I weighed in at 202 lbs on the doctor's scale. Wrong way! So, this spring, I'm renewing my commitment to get back on track! I love Zumba! Why am I not doing it? I love walking outdoors! It's spring, again, why am I not doing it? Time for a renewed answer to these questions of Just Do It!

My Goals:
My goals are to lose 70 lbs that have crept up on me since my 30th birthday 13 years ago. I want to feel healthy, be healthy, and regain confidence in how I look and feel.

My Pampering Goals: Okay...here we go!

Goals:
1. $1 for every pound lost
2. $1 for every inch lost
3. $.50 for every day I stay in my calorie range
4. $.50 for every day of 30 minutes or more cardio
5. $.50 for every day of strength training

My Program:
My 2014 5% Spring Challenge Commitment Goals

I will commit to getting in 30 minutes of cardio a day for the 8 weeks (56 days) of the challenge.

I will commit to getting in 30 minutes of strength training twice a week for the 8 weeks of the challenge.

I will commit to following a healthy balanced diet plan and counting calories using SparkPeople.

I will log my daily calories and post my exercise minutes

I will log my weight each week on Saturday

I will log my Living the Good Life points

I will check in with my team daily by commenting on the message board

I will be supportive of my teammates and read and comment on blogs and pages

Personal Information:
I'm in Carmel/Westfield, Indiana, and pretty much from the Indiana area. I have two dogs, Sampson, who I lovingly call wondermutt, and Bootsie, who I call the Boston Terror. I am not married, and have no children.
