"Do something every day, no matter how small, to make your life better.”

Be kind to yourself. Feed yourself healthy food, and feel great. If you're 130 pounds or 400 pounds, why beat yourself up? You deserve to feel good and be healthy. People in your life need you to be at your best. So just do it. Think happy, good thoughts about yourself, get some movement in your day, and remember that you're worth it.

That may have sounded silly, but this is how I am trying to remember to talk to myself. I am worth all of this hard work! Prepping meals, ...

That may have sounded silly, but this is how I am trying to remember to talk to myself. I am worth all of this hard work! Prepping meals, exercising, and remembering to avoid the greasy, nasty stuff is necessary because I want to be at my best.

My name is Tracy and I'm working on being at my best for me and for my baby girl. She is one-year-old and the light of my life. Working, taking care of a one-year-old, cleaning, and cooking is a LOT more work than I thought it would be! I am trying to treat myself well by eating well and exercising, so I have the energy for all of this!

Good quote about food addicts:
"You use food to fill a void in your life. When you do that consistently, you begin to believe that every feeling is hunger. When you’re sad, you’re hungry. When you’re angry, you’re hungry. When you’re happy, you’re hungry. Food addicts literally don’t feel a difference between emotions and feelings of hunger."

My Goals:
-To be the healthiest, happiest version of myself.
-To be a good mother, friend, wife and daughter
-To be FABULOUS at whatever size I happen to be.

My Program:
Right now I am doing the 30 day shred DVD. My workout plan changes all the time. I have run two 5Ks so I enjoy running/walking when the weather is good. I also enjoy Zumba classes on occasion and playing Just Dance on the Xbox.

Personal Information:
I am married with a cute baby daughter. I teach music at an elementary school, which is GREAT for weight loss because it keeps me moving a lot.

Other Information:
I grew up thinking hamburger helper and Kraft macaroni and cheese was a perfectly healthy meal, and being a Southern girl we ALWAYS had sweet tea! I literally never drank water as a child.
So I have learned a LOT during my transformation on SP. No, I am not done, but I am truly a very different person than I was three years and 70 pounds ago.

Hey Tracey! So great to hear from you!
Thanks for checking out my blog.
Hey, I hear you. I thought I'd catch up on Spark last week while I was on break, but my laptop collected dust instead. Which truthfully is just fine. I know I'll be around more once school starts for the kids - opposite of you though, LOL!
Anyway, hope you are enjoying your summer as well!
Off to read your new blog :-)

Hugs,
Beth

Good Morning Tracy!
Thanks for stopping by...it's always great to hear from you.
I think I may have a touch of that post race depression! The race was so much fun...but yeah, I've felt a tad empty since it's been over. I trained for so long and just couldn't wait for the day. It came and went so fast, but I have the best memories...it was awesome.

So anyway, read through a couple of your blogs and caught myself up on your life, LOL! You are doing great!
So school's about to end...what are you on Taby doing this summer? She's so darn cute...love the pic of her on the trampoline! I bet she's really keeping you busy these days...I know Carly keeps us on our toes constantly! She loved the pool the last two days, so that was good. We spend a lot of time there in the summer, so she has to like it, LOL!

Alright, gotta run! Keep in touch!
Hugs,
Beth
