2015 - New Year, New Plan

Back at it again, but this time with a new mindset and better focus. Beginning to understand that so many aspects of my life are intertwined, including my health and fitness.

Every little change I make will be a step in the right direction, and everything (EVERYTHING!) I do is a choice. Some bad decisions will happen, and that's ok (another thing I must remember). I just need to make the next choice a good one.

Back at it again, but this time with a new mindset and better focus. Beginning to understand that so many aspects of my life are intertwined, including my health and fitness.

Every little change I make will be a step in the right direction, and everything (EVERYTHING!) I do is a choice. Some bad decisions will happen, and that's ok (another thing I must remember). I just need to make the next choice a good one.

One of my big mistakes on my previous attempts has been taking on too much too fast. This time, I'm going to try to incorporate weekly mini-goals, just making one change at a time and giving myself a week to adjust before adding more. Some of my mini-goals include:
- At least 10 minutes of exercise every day (including strength training)
- At least 8 cups of water every day
- At least 5 servings of fruits and veggies every day
- Spend 2 weeks on limited carbs (maybe 25-30g daily) to help end my unhealthy relationship with sugar and processed carbs
- Meet my minimum protein requirement daily (this very rarely happens - I'm a carboholic)

-1250-1550 calories/day

- At least 10 minutes of exercise a day (preferably 20 minutes or more), cardio nearly every day and strength training 3-4x a week.
