Music Mom's weight loss

I am a stay-at-home mom of 2 boys (ages 11 and 8). I have always had problems with my weight but I feel like this time is different. I've been a part of Spark People since December 2007, and this is the longest that I have stuck with any type of weight loss program. The funny thing is that I don't feel like that's what this is. This is a lifestyle change that has really changed the way I do things.

On September 3, 2012 I reached my goal weight of 144 pounds! So excited, and ...

On September 3, 2012 I reached my goal weight of 144 pounds! So excited, and a little bit scared, to be switching over to maintenance, but I know that I can do it!!

As of November 18, 2012 the scale has slowly crept back up so I am moving back into weight loss mode. This is tough!

July 1, 2013 - I'm considering myself back in maintenance mode. As long as I stay under 150, I'll be happy!

June 9, 2014 - Back into weight loss mode. The scale has moved back up since my surgery back in Oct. 2013 and just won't budge. Frustrated, but I know that I will succeed!

All year long we focus on Healthy eating and moving the body to become fit. We do this for a chance to live life to the fullest. This fullness is to be shared at the dinner table at the holidays, not by what you put in your belly, it is to be measured from the joy you receive from being grateful for one more year with your loved ones.
