Have been over 200 pounds for more than 20 years. Most of that was in the 220 - 230 range. Since I started Spark People I have been slowly losing weight. It is so exciting that I don't have to shop in the plus size dept anymore. My energy level is increasing and the support of the teams is amazing.
My goals are to consistantly lose weight until I reach my goal and then maintain. I want to keep my body moving by exercise so I can live life to the fullest. I want to enjoy family and friends and grow in my faith. I want to be an inspiration to others to let them know they are created for a purpose and have value. I want to show the love of God to everyone I meet.
I am basically on a low carb diet. I go to water aerobics at least 3 times per week and move as much as I can. I try new recipes and experiment with different ingredients. I make sure to log into Spark People Coach every day. Staying connected really keeps me on track.
