This is so true. You don't have to be motivated to get out there - just get out there.

It doesn't matter if it is mispelled - you cross the finish line anyway.

Your life is ticking what are you going to do today?

Just trying to lose weight and get fit like everyone else.

I started as high as 195 lbs. Have lost over 45 lbs to get to 150 lbs or so. Would like to get to 138 lbs and hold around there. Have moved from overweight to normal weight. Qualified for life insurance at age 45. Feel much better and look much better now that I have lost 45 lbs.

Thanks for the nice comments on my race blog. Yes, I am trying to think more about finishing than racing lately. :)

Thanks for your comment. I had a great race, no PR, but a great accomplishment. I know have a massive medal. No one really talked about the race, we were all talking about this obnoxious size medal. It was too heavy to wear around the neck.

Great way to get your motivation back, signing up for races you love. Don't be hard on yourself during your comeback. You know what you are capable of, and you will get there. Congrats on your comeback and completing the race!
