Prince! The Greatest!
My philosophy is: It's none of my business what people say of me and think of me. I am what I am, and I do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. And it makes life so much easier. Anthony Hopkins
"When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back.
When you find your path, you must not be afraid. You need to have sufficient courage to make mistakes. Disappointment, defeat, and despair are the tools God uses to show us the way
Life has a way to test a person's will.
Either by having nothing happen at all, or by having everything happen at once." Paolo Coelho
When another person makes you suffer, it is because he suffers deeply within himself, and his suffering is spilling over. He does not need punishment; he needs help. That's the message he is sending. — Thich Nhat Hahn

"This has been a major conundrum for me: Why is the flow state of consciousness so often described as “losing yourself†to an activity, when the default mode brain network is highly active while people are in the flow state? The default mode network plays an important role in self-related cognition and personal goal processing. The flow state is characterized not just by activation of the default mode network, however, but also by the relative *deactivation* of areas of the lateral prefrontal cortex that play a role in working memory and metacognition. So I’m thinking that the “losing yourself†metaphor for flow that is so prominent is incorrect. It’s actually quite the opposite. When in flow, what is actually happening is that you are totally BEING YOURSELF. Without self-criticism. Instead of losing yourself, you are being yourself. The key distinction here is that losing your *sense* of self is not the same thing as losing your self. At least, that’s my latest thinking about this." Scott Barry Kaufman
"The pain of yesterday is the strength of today." Paulo Coelho
"Just because your past may not have been perfect, doesn't mean that your future can't be amazing." Robin Sharma

LET GO...or be dragged!! Decide to release the hold on what you've been hanging on to that has kept you stuck, frozen, ashamed or indecisive. Let go of the clutter in your life, and decide not to do harm to yourself in your own mind. Allow yourself permission to release any memories of experiences that keep you from creating your GREATEST life. Look around the spaces of your life and take time to clean up, clear out, throw out what doesn't serve you. Do you own the stuff in your life...or does it own you? Learn to live with less. The more you release...physically and mentally, the more space you will create for new energy, new relationships and friendships and brand new perspectives on life. Sometimes, less is more! Free yourself to live a life you love! You Deserve! — Les Brown

“The only key fear is helplessness in the face of our mortality. I can choose to celebrate my courage in the face of helplessness and have compassion in my fear, compassion for myself and my sadness. It became something I could practise so, when I was having a difficult time, I could put my hands together and be thankful for this opportunity to remind myself of my connection to my spiritual existence.†Paul Michael Glaser

â€There is no designated time for anything in your life. You don’t have to have your first kiss at any certain time, you don’t have to get married in your 20′s and you don’t have to do anything just because other people think it’s best. In fact, you will be much better off if you just do what your heart says. The day you stop caring what other people think is the day their opinions don’t mean anything, because you’re not there to give them weight.†~ Brianna West
