Baby Steppin' My Way to Success

Well, I lost a total of 38 pounds in 2009! I intend to lose at least 50 during 2010. I hope to lose more, but I also know the smaller I get, the harder it is to get off. I also know that plateaus can be rough. I am setting a realistic, rather than optimistic, goal for the new year. I hope to be more active in 2010, so I plan to exercise at least 30 minutes, four times a week. More exercise is preferable, but this is the minimum I want to achieve.

I also know that plateaus can be rough. I am setting a realistic, rather than optimistic, goal for the new year. I hope to be more active in 2010, so I plan to exercise at least 30 minutes, four times a week. More exercise is preferable, but this is the minimum I want to achieve.

A few facts about me:
*I turned 42 on August 27, 2009.
*I still consider myself a newlywed; I got married
December 20, 2008.
*I teach second grade inclusion.
*I live in Mississippi.
*I have been off and on diets all my life, I have a never been small...or even 'normal.'
*I starter South Beach Diet on August 10, 2009.

UPDATED 11-17-09
I reached my first goal of 35 pounds lost yesterday. On to my next 35 pound goal. I hope to lose it by 07-15-10. Even if I don't meet the deadline, I will eventually meet the goal.

UPDATED 12-31-09
Well, the holidays were rough. I had a bit of a gain, but it is no big deal. I gained a couple of pounds that I can get back off with just a little trouble. Remember, it isn't how many times you fall down, it's how many times you get back up!

My Program:
Nutrition-South Beach Diet

Fitness- A minimum of 30 minutes, 4 times a week.

Water-A minimum of 8 cups a day, more is really preferred

Sleep-7-9 hours each night

Hey there!

I have been so busy with school and some other things my SP presence has been scarce the past couple weeks! But, I am back and ready to go! I had a hard week or so but I am doing a bit better. I started the gym and have been going almost every night the past week and a half. I even dragged my bf there last night ;-)

emoticon that's emoticon emoticon on your success with the LMO challenge @ JDI! emoticon emoticon to the end, you're very worth all the work and effort you put forth! Just remember it's not always in the numbers that you see the loss! There are many other ways to measure your progress. ;)
