Being here (in high summer)

Welcome to Spark and the Thyroid Community Team.

Its a type of printing process, where an image is created on a sheet of copper, using corrosive salts, grounds, burnishing, sanding and scraping. After the image has been refined, its inked and wiped, pulled thru a 1.5 ton hand press with a dampened sheet of paper and felt blankets. During this final process the ink is transferred to the paper.

Its extremely time consuming and challenging as the process is full of surprises that you don't always have the ability to anticipate or control. Many of these surprises are not um... desirable. LOL

Rather like thyroid disease.

Between the Hashi's and Aquatints I should be a Zen Master by now.
Unfortunately, I am not.

Its nice to have a goal... although I can't quite decide if the goal has me.

Thanks for the drop-by and words of encouragement.

My balcony faces north so I basically get no sun at all. But anything that will grow in shade should be ok as long as it can be grown in pots..... Not much of a choice, but something is better than nothing, say what?

Wow, You've been busy!! Wish we had a rain barrel. Of course, there is nothing to put in it.

Summer is foggy, muggy, hot, windy and VERY dry. Currently have a cold. DH brought it home to me. Soooo not happy! Learning how to use tea tree oil for it.

Capture the bunnies for meat?

I ended up growing a tomato plant. Figure if I harvested 3 tomatoes from it, I've recovered my cost. Many small green tomatoes, plant is dying off.

Oh, planted a green onion I got from the produce section (b/c I had too many of them) and it is growing like a weed! Never knew one could get so big. However, don't know if it will go to seed or if it tastes good. While watering it, tomato plants started growing from last years tomato. LOL Will see where it all leads.

Also planted Mint in it's own container so I can have mint tea. Almost feel guilty about watering them all. Using house water for some of it.
