Together we can keep others motivated to meet our fitness and weight goals. I tend to get so busy with continuing my education, working on our home, outside gainful employment, that I have a hard time finding time for fitness, even though I greatly enjoy a wide variety of activities. How do you make time for exercise?

I enjoyed reading what you said about why you run. I just started. I hope to learn more. I'm a newbie.

I started for about 3 or 4 weeks and began again. I'm tying to figure it mostly myself. I did post at two groups, and got a remark or two.

Thanks!

Hi,

I read your reply about being a stay at home mom. You mentioned your daughter home schooled. I want to do that. Did the kids like it?

You hear so much about "social interaction" aspect of schools, but I am terrified of all the violence anymore and would love to home school.

Thanks for your input to my question on whether I should join the YMCA. I really appreciate you taking the time to do that!

Thanks for the comments on the message boards. My peers say I am so active, they say I wish i was like you, I cringe. When I try to approach them to get up and move it just seems to fall on deaf ears.
I tried but it seems people think there are enough things on Spark already.
I told DH I am not getting anywhere with this so i will do as you are doing looking out for myself and try to keep my mouth and typing to a minimum on the subject.
We live in the Capital city I asked the City Rec department if we could use a gym in a now vacant city school for walking in the winter. They said yes 7am till 9am the gym is rented to other organisations for basketball. We are in Maine, the snow plows are still out and that is the busiest time of the day. Seniors can go to the Y with silver sneakers, that's OK but the younger ones do not go they are still working and waiting for retirement. It is often too late to wait to retire for exercise time.
I just hoped there was another way. Thanks again for your comment it's a GREAT job you are doing.
Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
