Hello all!

I am 44 and currently obese. I am married with 3 girls. I have been overweight for about 20 years now. The last 5 years I have been "trying" to lose weight but have found all that I have lost. It is time to get off the Roller Coaster, as I am no longer having fun!

I am 44 and currently obese. I am married with 3 girls. I have been overweight for about 20 years now. The last 5 years I have been "trying" to lose weight but have found all that I have lost. It is time to get off the Roller Coaster, as I am no longer having fun!

In my mind I am still athletic and healthy, I was always active in sports, cheerleading, etc. I was in good shape in the United States Navy, and even after my first child I continued to play sports and lead an active lifestyle. I don't really know where I lost myself....

Here is to starting anew, being a supportive friend and hopefully making some new supportive friends along the way.

My promise to myself is lose 1 pound a week through more activity and less "junk-fast food".

Treadclimber 30 minutes per day 3 days a week

Strength training 30 minutes per day 3 days per week.

A total of 30 minutes of continuous movement per day. Bicycling, Skating, basketball, walking, PLAYING!

Personal Information:
I am a 44 year old mother of 3 girls. My hubby is my best friend. I am determined to get healthier so I can enjoy life to the fullest and be a good example!

Other Information:
I love to read and be outdoors. The treadclimber has become my new love! The ocean is one of my favorite places. Since I don't live by the ocean, the Pool and Patio in a rainstorm is my next favorite place of peace.
