Lesley's Journey and life-style change

Hello. I am a 64 year old mother and grandmother of 10. My goal is to avoid becoming a diabetic. I found out I was pre-diabetic and began this journey immediately. I joined a gym, began watching anything I ate or drank, and joined SparkPeople. I have a trainer and work out as much as I can handle. I love to cook and have been working downsizing recipe calories and sugars.

My Goals:
Not to become a diabetic. Be able to look at myself in the mirror and like what I see.

My Program:
I joined SparkPeople, Fitworks, and got a personal trainer. I am watching what I eat and the amount I eat. Trainer said I need to eat 3 meals and 3 snacks a day.

Personal Information:
I live in Willoughby, Ohio and Haines City, Florida. My husband is nearly a full invalid and needs operations. I have 10 grandchildren who are wonderful. We have 2 cats who are spoiled but give so much love.

Other Information:
I enjoy playing games on the computer and r/l. Love to read, make jewelry, scrapbooking, and cooking. Really enjoy television with NCIS my favorite show.

Hi, I am approaching my 64th birthday - September is my month and I plan to be DOWN 100 pounds by then. I am getting CLOSE to that and only have about 20 more to go by the end of September.
