Life's a journey...

Life definitely is a journey, and sometimes you wind up taking the scenic route to your goals... That's okay, I suppose, as long as you know where it is that you want to end up.
After losing 75lbs last year, I got caught up in the hustle and bustle of a new living arrangement, and fell off the exercise bandwagon. I continued to eat healthy foods, but my portion control definitely slipped. Then along came the holidays. Life got hectic, my resolve folded, and I ended up gaining 15 of those ...

I continued to eat healthy foods, but my portion control definitely slipped. Then along came the holidays. Life got hectic, my resolve folded, and I ended up gaining 15 of those pesky pounds back. Well, I'm once again sick and tired of being sick and tired, and after months of stupidly sitting around and hoping that those new-found pounds would just melt away, I finally got my head out of my derriere so that I could see my way back to the gym! LOL So here I am again... a little older... hopefully a little wiser... and definitely a little more resolved to get to my goal weight. I now have another 75lbs to go, but that's a battle that I have fought and won before, and I'm determined to do so again.

I can't believe it rained all day! So glad I got lots of yard work done yesterday... Spent today painting front and back doors, inside and out. I've been trying to make isometric exercise a habit, so far so good.
