So excited for the Future!

Hi, I am a 35 year old Native American female.. I am happily married for 14 years now with 2 beautiful children. Nathan 12 and Brianna 10. I have struggled with my weight now for 9 years. Hi, I am a 35 year old Native American female.. I am happily married for 14 years now with 2 beautiful children. Nathan 12 and Brianna 10. I have struggled with my weight now for 9 years. Since the birth of my daughter. I was always a healthy weight thorough out most of high school and college. I made sure to do some type of physical fitness daily. Somehow after the birth of my daughter I lost sight. I started hating to workout. I overate constantly. I gained up to 307 lbs. That number on the scale freaked me out. I did manage to lose 28 pounds by starving myself but everyone knows that's not a good thing to do. I have over 128 pounds to lose. I felt hopeless until I found Spark people and it is actually working for me. I've become more active and I have a feeling of accomplishment when I meet my nutrition goals and now my fitness goals. I feel like now I have the tools I need to lose weight and keep it off. I'm looking forward to getting to know about all of you and our common goals. Maybe picking up some good advice and encouragement along the way. I can do all things through Christ! Even lose this weight! Feeling very optimistic and driven for the first time in a while.

My Goals:
I basically just want to be happy and healthy. I have realized I can't be overweight and happy. It just isn't a good mix. My weight loss goal is to weigh 150 lbs. But I haven't weighed that since 1999. So once I get to a comfortable weight I will start to maintain.

My Program:
I am tracking my meals everyday and counting calories on Spark People. I make sure not to deprive myself of anything. I know that will make me want it even more. Moderation in everything. I am trying to fit in some type of physical fitness daily. I look at everything I do as burning calories. Because really any movement does.

Other Information:
I absolutely love to read. I'm learning when I feel like eating But I'm not hungry to keep a good book around or do something I really enjoy, What doesn't Kill you Only Makes you Stronger!
