Off and running again :-)

I'm Natalie and I have just a few pounds to lose, but those seem to be the hardest. Hopefully my love of running can overcome my love of baking cookies :-)

Not that strange; on the list of common withdrawals when I researched it. Have a good day, Nat.

Hi Nat,

Thanks for your great comment on my “bikes and beer” blog. I am also amazed at the price range of people powered vehicles. I checked out the Elliptigo website. The top-of-the-line model has more gears and some exotic materials, such as carbon-fiber. The top-of-the-line is faster and lighter; and goes for $3,500.

The big bike manufacturers, like Specialized and Giant, offer bikes that range from $500 to $10,000. The high-end bikes are made from exotic materials such as carbon-fiber and titanium. The higher-end bikes have the latest and greatest components. The high-cost of some bikes is controversial. Most riders cannot tell the difference between a solid mid-range bike costing $3,000 and a high-end bike costing $10,000.

I have 100’s of great models already. I can’t live long enough to build them all. I have a lot of really nice kits that are out-of-production. I also build and fly radio control airplanes. Both of my modeling hobbies are cheap compared to my bike addiction.

Thanks, Bruce
