Kinda like single parenting with lots of moral support;o)

I am SO ready to be able to do the things I want to do without fear. I am tired of being held back by prison walls of fat. I want to go horseback riding with my younger girls and someday with my grandkids. I want to garden. I want to run around the park with the kids rather than sit on the bench and smile and wave. I want to hike up beautiful trails far from anything man made. I would even someday love to go white water rafting.

The single most challenging part of my journey is trying to make progress in spite of the symptoms of Myasthenia Gravis. This disease makes it very difficult to build muscle tissue. Anyone else out there dealing with Neuromuscular disorders that make it extra challenging to get fit?

So here I go! Wish me luck!

emoticon A BRIGHTER WORLD emoticon

When good friends walk beside us
on the trails that we must keep,
Our burdens seem less heavy and
the hills are not so steep.
The weary miles pass swiftly taken
in a joyous stride,
And all the world seems brighter when friends walk by our side

I'm so glad to hear from you! I hope the job is a good one and you're enjoying it. I am thrilled to hear you're swimming. It's such a great overall body exercise. Sorry to hear you don't have internet at the moment. I went six months without it and like you I was so thankful for my cell to keep me connected to friends.
When you get free time keep me posted on your life. I've missed you!

Natalie,
I've missed you. How are you doing? It's been what, six, seven months? We've been in Cali now for almost 8. Can you believe how quickly the time has gone? Do you still have my email?

Hope Tulsa gets some unseasonably cool weather WITHOUT humidity!! You all deserve it! I remember the heat and humidity well: you had to go for a walk before sunup, because it NEVER cooled down enough after sundown!

Oops! I am assuming you live there now. Just because you are on a Tulsa team doesn't necessarily mean you're still there! So, wherever you live now, I hope you get some cool, refreshing weather!
