Let's Get Healthier!

Hi, I'm Margie. I am in the "less to lose" category but am finding that over 40 it is more difficult. Here's what motivates me: I want to avoid cardiovascular disease and debilitating arthritis as I get older as I see so many people suffering. It seems to me our standard American diet is the biggest problem. I also want to lose some pounds to help my joints feel better... I always feel better lighter. On this site I want to track my progress and be encouraging to others who are striving too.

Personal Information:
I live in Lancaster, PA. I am 47, married with 4 kids and 2 cats.

I have some minor physical and / or health challenges I push against or work around. Work takes a lot of my energy. I want to have more left at the end of the day.

I also like to sing and surf the net to learn, learn, learn. I am never bored.
