    3, eh? Here is my old-lady pitch.

    I have 2 adult step sons. They are great, but experiencing 10s and teens before twos, very hard.

    I had a miracle child at 36. It was never going to happen again. After 3 years of trying, we went to China and adopted a 3.5 year old girl, with special needs.

    So we have 4 children in three generations, and my DH says we are raising a grandchild with our youngest.

    HAD I KNOWN I would have loved being a mom, I would have started a lot sooner. No regrets though, as my DD needs a whole lot of my attention.

    Good luck in mom-dom world. It is the most important role you will have for the next 20 years.
