I have been a Sparkpeople member for almost 5 years. I have learned a lot about nutrition, fitness, and my own unhealthy patterns in this time.

My key issues are emotional eating, consistency, and a lack of mindfulness. I have a long way to go, but I am learning to really love myself for me, at any size, along the way. I really want 2015 to be a productive and healthy year!

To start this, I have joined the 5% Winter Challenge. I commit to:

1. Return to strict portion control and track all my eating
2. Stop mindless snacking (esp. at work & in the evenings at home)
3. Commit to 10,000 steps per day
4. Attend all physical therapy sessions/do at home sessions so a current injury heals & I can return to working out full time.
5. Blog once a week

Exercise 5 days a week (currently on hold due to injury)
