Here we are on a Saturday night. How is your weekend going? I'm working the day shift but get off Monday evening for 6 days. Yeah! So far the skinny jean challenge is fitting into my schedule but just barely. For a first challenge it's pretty good. I cut out the picture of the skinny jeans logo they are using and taped it to my treadmill. LOL Hugs Dee
Good Evening Lynel, Sorry to hear your hubby is under the weather. Yes, that would be bad for you to get it also. I had a good turn around today. Was tired after the night shift but went to Grand Rapids to pick some veggies up and items to ship to Afghanistan. I almost didn't hit the pool on the way back as the road were so bad and I could barely stay awake. BUT found a 2nd wind and told myself that even 30 minutes would be better than nothing. So I stopped and managed 45 minutes. My skinny jean challenge was 30 cardio minutes. so I WIN...yeah! The front of my legs are a little sore from day #1's leg exercises but it's not going to stop me. I will do them again tomorrow. I managed to stay on my healthy eating habits while at home today. Staying firm with D.H. about not going off my diet. I appreciate him being ok with what I look like now but it's too hard when he's always checking if I'll slide back and eat like he is. Grrrr I'm having fun with my new spark tracker device. I've had it in the pool twice. The first time I had it hooked to my swim top and the times were off. Today I hooked it to my shoe and it was right on. I like how it adds all your steps up. It's a good motivator for me. Well stay strong on your late week. Maybe it wil help you avoid D.H.s sickie germs. LOL Hugs, Dee
Good Morning Lynel! How is your weekend going? I'm still on the night shift and have one more after this one is done. Then three days off. I signed up for the 30 day skinnyjean challenge. I'm pretty excited about it. I've been having a very hard time being consistant with my calorie count when I'm not at work. But now that I signed up for this challenge I plan to have a talk with my husband about how I need to eat while I'm at home. I need him to understand I need to eat differently to keep the weight coming off. So I'll be making my own meals and hopefully he'll get to partaking in them also but atleast not cooking for me in ways that go against the veggie style I want. He means well by cooking but it's just too hard for me. So I'm excited about this challenge. I have time before Thanksgiving to get a 30 challenge in. I'm also hoping I'll be so excited that I'll be careful during the Holiday's not to do as much damage. I would love to be down to my goal of 155 lbs by April 2014. I'll turn 51 that month and it's seems fitting. I hope your not working too much. How is your water walking going? Hope to hear from you soon, Hugs, Dee
Lynel thanks so much for the spark goodie. Oh....the last wedding went off perfect. All the groomsmen on the dirt bikes did wonderful. The crowd was pretty surprised. Very orginal for sure. I had to work today but then start my two weeks away from here. I'm pretty behind on my garden so that will be my destresser...LOL I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of it all. Hugs, Dee
