The love that I have for my family and friends have pushed me to forget myself and my desires. Now that I am in the season of cleansing past barriers and sufferings, I realized how "sick and tired" I became of being "sick and tired." I have allowed others to control me and never gave ME the opportunity to do what was best for ME. Without going into great detail, I've been overweight since I was 18 and lost myself through my adult years. Now I am here to start another journey of my "new identity" in hopes to reach goals that I thought were untouchable and dreams that became hopeless. And to feel the joy of wanting to celebrate another birthday with the "gift of love" is something I've always wanted to experience - ME, myself and I. Lastly, thanking God for answered prayers... I had been given the opportunity to hope again.

Hi! How's September treating you?
I came across the Joyce Meyer article that you posted back in April, and loved it! I enjoy Joyce Meyer and I truely needed to read those words.
Well, I pray that you enjoy this journey of weight loss (we have about the same amount to lose) and the blessings God will send your way!
Take Care!

Good evening my dear! I just wanted to tell you that you are a child of the living God! He has a plan and a purpose for you; plans of good and not of evil! May God shine His countenance upon you while you submit yourself to Him in this walk of health and wholeness!

You are probably like me and as a child you were told to "sit down and be quiet and don't get dirty." I did a lot of reading and sewing and artwork, but didn't go outside and "exercise" because I was a girl. My brother would "rough-house" and run outside, but that was okay.
Know that you can exercise and learn to set small goals for YOU, so you are proud of yourself. I'm doing that and it is making a change. No one can take care of your health but YOU.

Love Yourself. emoticon

As a leader of Christian Living #4, I would like to welcome to our group. We are a little group with some great people and I hope that we can be the encouragement you are looking for.

Let me know if there is any way I can help.

Hi Nelly,

Good to hear from you and thanks for the big welcome. I'm sure we will all be victorious in our plans and goals. Believing and patience is the two meaningful words for me. I will work at it daily and I will reap the rewards. God has promised and I believe He knows what is best for His kids. Look forward to chatting with you.

God bless,
Donna
