Finding the new Me.

Hello! I am a new mom, and am looking to not only shed the baby weight but to discover a new healthier me in the process. I gained almost 40 lbs during my pregnancy, lost some afterwards as expected but continued to carry around 10-15 from where I started. I was also over my goal weight when I got pregnant. Having said all that, it's not all about the scale. I am really looking for what was triggering my eating habits and how to change them for the better LONG TERM! I'd like to have more kids ...

I'd like to have more kids and want to be in a better place physically for both pregnancy and afterwards. I am loving this site so far and am excited to see how this goes!

My Goals:
To lose 20 lbs. To start a journey to a new life with healthy habits and a happier, more confident me!

My Program:
Journaling, tracking Nutrition and Fitness. Working out a minimum of three times per week, but averaging closer to six.

Other Information:
Hardest thing to kick will be sweets and alcohol. Though I will enjoy a glass of wine or beer now and then, I am finding that drinking calories was making a huge impact on my weight.
