Hi all my name is Niki. This is my second time around trying sparkpeople. Though I've been on the large size most of my life I started having real weight issues about 15 yrs ago since then it's been up down up and down. I've added 35kg over the past 15 yrs. The mere thought of that makes me feel like I've got fat cuddled round my arteries and my heart could just stop beating. Hi all my name is Niki. This is my second time around trying sparkpeople. Though I've been on the large size most of my life I started having real weight issues about 15 yrs ago since then it's been up down up and down. I've added 35kg over the past 15 yrs. The mere thought of that makes me feel like I've got fat cuddled round my arteries and my heart could just stop beating. I'm quite busy without too much time for exercise however I have an active job so that keeps me on my feet most of the day. However I plan to spend 10 to 15 mins daily skipping and jogging up a hilly slope everyday. I'll also join the 5km walk of my gym class twice a month and put in 1hr at the gym once a week. I'll swim 10 laps once a week. I will also makeconscious effort to plan my meals everyday and cut off pastries, fastfoods and sugary drinks. I KNOW I can. YES I can.

Loose up to 37 kg before christmas. Exercise at least 15 mins every day. Make conscious effort to plan my meals. Increase stamina and energy levels.

It has been a long absence but glad I still have the courage to do this after bouts of depression, some weight gain, and creeping back of old habbits. Feel disappointed that I am not getting to my goals despite all good and well intended efforts. Almost feeling like i have no clue where to start all over.
Well I have to start somewhere . Weighing in, stocking the right stuff, and sticking to my 30 mins daily walk. I HOPE things turn out well .

happy to say I achieved my goal for the week. Dropped another kg. did push ups for the first time in a loooong time yesterday and today, my shoulders hurt some. had a sudden craving for croissant today but overcame that by getting a bottle of water instead.
