My goal for 2016 is to reach 225, which would make me the lowest that I've ever been since childhood. As of June 7, my current weight is 259.8 and my totals are: 36.6 pounds and 43" lost. The scale has not been moving much lately, so I am going to focus harder and staying in my doctor recommended carb budget and exercise more consistently. My current motivation/reward program is a charm bracelet. I have a charm for every 10 pounds that I have lost. I actually have 4 charms because I had lost over 40 pounds at one point, but I am struggling with the 250's and have been for awhile.

My highest weight ever was 296.4, during the summer of 2011. I'm determined to never see almost-300 pounds again. I AM going to reclaim my life. I have been over-weight my entire adult life. The smallest I've ever been as an adult is 230, and I'm going to beat it. It's going to take hard work and determination, but I CAN do it! After being diagnosed with diabetes in July of 2015, I am more determined than ever to change my life.

I was previously registered here at SparkPeople under the name CorgiMomEin, and I lost 50 pounds only to gain it all back and then some. I am working harder now to make LIFELONG changes and working towards a plan that I can live with.
