getting focused on being healthier

I've been on sparkpeople for awhile without really making any big changes to my diet. I'm ready this time to commit to becoming healthier.I started gaining weight when I got married five years ago. I would like to lose the weight for myself and for my husband.

My Goals:
I am 170 lbs and would be much happier at 130 lbs I'm hoping to lose the weight quickly

My Program:
right now I am counting calories and I walk 2 miles every other day and do a dvd workout for 30 minutes on the days I'm not walking

Personal Information:
I am from Erie PA. I just turned 30. I am married and we have one cat. My husband works and I stay at home for now. I'm hoping to find some support here and maybe some friends.

Other Information:
I watch too much t.v, mostly comedy like How I Met Your Mother and drama like Greys Anatomy. I just like hanging out with my husband and our cat.
