You Can't Take the Sky From Me

I haven't updated this in a while so here goes. I started Spark People when I was approximately 175 pounds. I was 28 and recently divorced. I gained a lot of weight during my marriage due to being unhappy and depressed. Most of my time was spent either working two jobs or laying in bed hiding from the world.

I am 30 and I am down to 155 pounds. I am working one job, in therapy, and in great relationship with someone. I am making my life better but I still need to be healthier and fitter. I still struggle with exercise and healthy eating. That's what I'm here for.

150 - Pedicure
145 - Leather pants
140 - Caribbean Cruise. It's booked for this November so I hope to make it to this weight.

My Goals:
Even though my main goal is to lose weight I want also learn to like myself no matter what size I am.

I'd also love to do a mini-triathlon eventually.

Goal Weight 130
Run a 5k in 35 min

My Program:
I don't have set program just yet. I'm trying to just keep track of my calories and workout once or twice a week to start. I want to eventually work out 5 times a week but I know if I do put that pressure on myself I'll bail so I'm starting slow.

Personal Information:
Live in Michigan, want to move south one day.

Thanks for the blog comment... I think the health stuff is stress and working out as hard as I was, was making me sick. I will still see the doc when I return home. I have an apt scheduled already.

Wedding is next weekend and thank you so much! I leave Wednesday.

Thanks for the post about layers. I have to pack 2 weeks of clothes for Vegas (wedding) and honeymoon in on suit case...
