I am a 65 year old grandmother of 7. I have struggled with my weight for several years. I used to be able to take it off but have struggled to keep it off, each time gaining more. I have a bad back and have pain daily which makes it hard for me to want to exercise. I do see a doctor for this on a regular basis.I hope to be able to succeed at losing and keeping it off this time.

My Program:
-Exercising daily, even allowing my 4 yr. old granddaughter to participate with me so she will learn and love to exercise too. I can't honestly say I love to yet!!!!

-Trying to cook new and healthy foods for my family to eat.

- married 45 yrs this past March

-3 children, 7 grandchildren

-from New York State,have lived in North Carolina for 30 yrs.

Thank you for commenting on my blog !

I know what you mean about sitting around because of pain and things getting worse. I did that for years. I've had chronic pain for over 20 years and always gave in to it, feeling sorry for myself. Like you I finally wised up and realized I wasn't helping myself. Now I exercise most days, even though it's not easy, but it feels good knowing I'm doing something positive for myself.
