A Roadway of One

I've been overweight a major part of my life. My 20s and early 30s were extremely hard as I saw my weight go up and up. I've tried Weight Watchers which worked for a while, but I hit a plateau. I didn't know how to deal with it so I backslided and ended up gaining back all of my weight lost plus a whole lot more. I'm at my highest weight ever right now and miserable about it. Enough is enough! Among my roadblocks to losing weight was worrying how other people would react to it, particularly those who have been negative in the past in my attempts to lose weight. But now I could care less. My life depends on my weight and living healthy. This path is for ME and for ME alone.

-To be able to groom and polish my toenails without getting a leg cramp (Pretty annoying)

Working on exercising 3-4 times per week for at least 30 minutes

Other goals are to speak fluently one language other than English, crochet/knit very well, and after one million attempts to finally be able to sew a garment or at least a pillow cushion :)

Thanks for popping into my blog! I appreciate it. You know, I once went on a crazy diet program and my body was just waiting to gain it all back and more. You just can't go to these extremes it really messes with your metabolism. You need a healthy sustainable lifestyle and I think most of us are going for it on this site! We can definitely do this! emoticon

THANK YOU for commenting on my blog! I hear quite often that I look smaller than what I weigh. I think part of it is because a lot of my weight is in my bottom half. It goes to show that everyone is different! I hope you have a good week!

thanks for the comment on my blog! I am taking everyone's advice and tracking and I do need to do preplanning for my meals. I just have to sit down and actually do it.

Tracking today has gone very well, i just have to keep doing it until i have a better handle on my eating habits.

how much water a day do you drink? I drink an average of 75-90 oz a day. I always feel like i'm drinking water constantly but i know its good for me.
