And so begins another year!

Like everyone else, I've been plugging along. I want....I need.....to be healthier! I don't have any significant health issues, to which I'm very grateful, however, I "feel" very uncomfortable, and definitely look overweight and out of shape! Pictures don't lie! So....I begin....again, and happily so!

2013 June 8
Revamped my thoughts now. Have been following "Nutritarian" basically, since April 19th, and have been successful. Feel healthier, lost 21 + pounds so far, and ...

Revamped my thoughts now. Have been following "Nutritarian" basically, since April 19th, and have been successful. Feel healthier, lost 21 + pounds so far, and it's been virtually painfree! Love that there's no weighing food or measuring food. It's working for me. Basically started following because I was tired of feeling "yuck" and my husband has been asking me to read this book "Eat to Live" by Dr. Joel Fuhrman. He's been after me for five years to read it, but I kind of rebelled! Also watched a Dr. Oz show on how some women have difficulty losing weight due to intolerance to dairy, I figured that could be me. So...have cut out all dairy, switched to almond or soy milk, no more cheeses, yogurt, etc. and can't believe how much healthier I feel! So...will keep plugging away!

My Goals:
To become the best me I can possibly be! Goals: to track what I eat, my fitness activity and to journal.

My Program:
Tracking nutrition staying within recommended calorie counts, exercise, drinking lots of water, eating healthier making better choices and journaling!

2013 April 19 Changed my program to nutritarian. Following Dr. Joel Furhman's Eat to Live Program now. Told my husband I give it three months, and as of today, June 8, it's been a little over seven weeks.

Personal Information:
From good old New York! I'm Nenia (sounds like neena). Married for 37 years, have three grown children and two grandsons, all which I think are great, super, stupendous, (you get the picture!) I work per diem as a Physical Therapist Assistant and happen to love what I do!

Other Information:
Love to read, quilt, computer games, walk, (I'm well rounded - literally!) Love to hum and sing because it makes me happy! And I love God and am greatful for His abundant blessings!
