I'm a fragment of the day

Just cups of tea and history.

I'm vegetarian, part-time vegan (working on being fully vegan, for health, social, & ethical reasons). I used to dance, but I gained a lot of weight in college and now I'm a grad student (in theater arts) trying to get rid of it again.

I came across your blog "Walk to Rivendell" on the "Relighting your Spark" team. Very interesting. Is this something you made up of is this something here on SP mapping your walk? I'm liking the idea of tracking miles with some fun involved.

May I humbly suggest that instead of thinking of getting rid of the weight, you think of whittling away at your overeating habits. This is the real issue anyway. When people say, the weight came back, what they really mean is they went back to overeating. That's what we work on on the Living Binge Free team. Not having eating tied to a certain weight has a lot of benefits! And it doesn't mean our long-termers haven't lost weight, as they have. But that is just a side effect. Really! emoticon
