I am 71 years young, married to my first love for 51 years. We live in Maine, VACATIONLAND. We came here from England and intended to stay just 2 years. We have stayed here 51 years in the same city and have been very happy here. Our sons had to move away from here alas to find work. That gives us two places we need to go to visit. Summer we try to catch up with the grandchildren.

My Goals:
My goal is to be as healthy, fit and happy as possible. I like to see places in Maine in our small Motor Home and drive it as long as I can.

My Program:
I have always tracked food due to allergies so that goal is almost met. Improving my fitness (after a back injury cramped my style) is a little harder. I use my stepper to stregthen my leg that was adversely affected from the surgery. I love to walk outdoors in the summer. In the winter I have to overcome my fear of falling on ice so I walk on the treadmill daily.

Personal Information:
My name is Pat my mother was Nora, hence Noraspat. I was born during World War 2 in England. My mother, brother and I were homeless till I was about 10 years old. I never met our father. Our mother always told us. We will be Clean, Honest and you will both be well educated. That was the way it was. We were poor and happy living with any relative who would take us in for a while.

Other Information:
My husband and I rent movies, nothing nasty we lived with enough nasty in our childhood during the war. We like comedy and old classic Mystery. We miss Alistair Cooke masterpiece, the newer ones are often not as good as the older ones, times change and I do not. I ran an alterations shop in town for 24 years and loved doing it. The boys are in Upstate NY, California and Nevada and I miss them a lot.

You are so funny about what you consider a spark vacation, lol. I have friends on here who are AWL for months...

Well, it sure is the time to get yard work done. Nice to hear things are coming about on your end of the country. I am so pleased with how our back sitting area looks and got art up as there are only daffodils up so far.

Wow, furnace and hot water... things go in threes don't they? Hmmm.

Glad about your room and sewing. I want to get back to playing harp. Yikes, May already and the end of year concert will be in June and I have not been to a lesson since December and the Christmas concert. Oh my! But I have had a lot of good things happening. Had a rough night I blogged about last night... but seems better today thank goodness. I'm barefoot and happy wandering around my garden and that's what counts! cheers, Justyna

Thanks for dropping by Pat. We had a one in a century storm from
Thursday to Saturday morning and at one stage we got 96 mm of rain
in less than an hour. My garage flooded as my landlord has not fixed
the seal under the garage door. I have lost some boxes in the bottom
of the cupboard in there. The rain even came in under the front door.
People are still cleaning up. I am madly clearing up 'stuff' and getting
ready for either a garage sale or a car boot sale. Time is flying and
I cannot wait till I leave for my trip at the end of July.
I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. I hope the fumes have
disappeared and that you have your bedroom looking as you like now. emoticon

Exactly what happened. She was positively evangelical... And I did back off and tell her about Spark and Lose It. She was a bit hostile... But she had her own share of challenges and was using these strategies. Too good to be true.

Hi! I've been out for so long with this knee surgery, but things are going a lot better now. Still doing physical therapy and will continue for a few more weeks. I'm as stiff as the tin man from "The Wizard Of Oz. My sister is here helping me for awhile, so we are having fun.
