I am 70 years young, married to my first love for 50 years. We live in Maine, VACATIONLAND. We came here from England and intended to stay just 2 years. Summer we try to catch up with the grandchildren.

My Goals:
My goal is to be as healthy, fit and happy as possible. I like to see places in Maine in our small Motor Home and drive it as long as I can.

My Program:
I have always tracked food due to allergies so that goal is almost met. Improving my fitness (after a back injury cramped my style) is a little harder. I use my stepper to stregthen my leg that was adversely affected from the surgery. I love to walk outdoors in the summer. In the winter I have to overcome my fear of falling on ice so I walk on the treadmill daily.

Personal Information:
My name is Pat my mother was Nora, hence Noraspat. I was born during World War 2 in England. My mother, brother and I were homeless till I was about 10 years old. I never met our father. Our mother always told us. We will be Clean, Honest and you will both be well educated. That was the way it was. We were poor and happy living with any relative who would take us in for a while.

Other Information:
My husband and I rent movies, nothing nasty we lived with enough nasty in our childhood during the war. We like comedy and old classic Mystery. We miss Alistair Cooke masterpiece, the newer ones are often not as good as the older ones, times change and I do not. I ran an alterations shop in town for 24 years and loved doing it. The boys are in Upstate NY, California and Nevada and I miss them a lot.

Thank you for visiting my blog and your kind words. I am so happy that your son came to see you and consequently do the plumbing. The duplex behind me had major problems this past week. The pipe burst and they had to bring in a leak detection team and they fixed it, then two days later another leak. It must have cost my landlord a fortune.

My other friend had to call the plumber as her pipe burst and she had to pay $300. It is so hard to get tradies these days and when they come, you pay top dollar. I am really glad Fred is doing well with his eye treatments. How are you doing?

I tried to like your friend feed, but it told me it is set to private. Well, I feel
a lot better today and went for a long awaited walk. It was a perfect Autumn day and not too hot thank God.
Have a lovely weekend. By the way, I am going to Greece at the end of July and then going to London for 2 weeks before I head to my village in Rhodes mid August. Exciting and exhilarating at the same time. emoticon

I used the site. There is only one in this area. A massage therapist who is about 50 miles away.

There is a link in my blog to see what Yuma looked like ( a video, as well as pics and the story) and where he was found at one week old. Yes, they are native to FL. Only 100-150 left in the wild..such a beautiful animal! I will adopt and maybe a manatee too!! Anyone can adopt hose online or Yuma too, once it is available. I love this place! Nice to know their are such places like this to help the wild animals! Thanks for stopping by!! emoticon
