I am 70 years young, married to my first love for 50 years. We live in Maine, VACATIONLAND. We came here from England and intended to stay just 2 years. We have stayed here 48 years in the same city and have been very happy here. Our sons had to move away from here alas to find work. That gives us two places we need to go to visit. Our other son is in upstate New York. He is the closest but you cannot get there from here in the winter. There is just too much snow in the White and Green ...

Summer we try to catch up with the grandchildren.

My Goals:
My goal is to be as healthy, fit and happy as possible. I like to see places in Maine in our small Motor Home and drive it as long as I can.

My Program:
I have always tracked food due to allergies so that goal is almost met. Improving my fitness (after a back injury cramped my style) is a little harder. I use my stepper to stregthen my leg that was adversely affected from the surgery. I love to walk outdoors in the summer. In the winter I have to overcome my fear of falling on ice so I walk on the treadmill daily.

Personal Information:
My name is Pat my mother was Nora, hence Noraspat. I was born during World War 2 in England. My mother, brother and I were homeless till I was about 10 years old. I never met our father. Our mother always told us. We will be Clean, Honest and you will both be well educated. That was the way it was. We were poor and happy living with any relative who would take us in for a while.

Other Information:
My husband and I rent movies, nothing nasty we lived with enough nasty in our childhood during the war. We like comedy and old classic Mystery. We miss Alistair Cooke masterpiece, the newer ones are often not as good as the older ones, times change and I do not. I ran an alterations shop in town for 24 years and loved doing it. The boys are in Upstate NY, California and Nevada and I miss them a lot.

Not much snow here, thankfully, though some may come tomorrow. It has been bone chilling cold. I am working full time, and do not get on the computer much. I have not been posting as many blogs, that's why you haven't seen much.
Thanks for your note.

Thanks, Pat. Carys is a Welsh name. My daughter in law's grandmother was Welsh. Amelia is a special name for us also. it was my mother in law's name. She was a wonderful, loving, kind woman. The name was a surprise!!! We are very touched by this gesture from our son and his wife.

Right now I just have adult rabbits, the 4 breeding does, and one buck, and of course my angora bunny. This summer is going to be tricky, I am not sure when I will breed, my neighbor that does the dressing out is going to Alaska again and won't be back until Sept, so I think I will leave it later and bred for that time. I will let you know, you are welcome to come up and get some just let me know what you want. I use rabbit a lot just like chicken, this fall I boned out all the loins when I froze them and put the legs in a bag. I don't eat that much at a time so a whole rabbit is too much for me, but I do leave some whole for people that want them. emoticon
