2013 - A Year of No Regret

I've been on Spark since 2006, but actually DONE spark only a month or two sporadically in that time.

January 2009 I lost my dad. The third cause of death was morbid obesity. 2009 was a year of coming to terms with the realization i was following in his footsteps and on the road to killing myself.

I have spent my life saying "I wish I would have..." and that is what I'm doing away with in 2013. I'm going to live my life so that i don't have regret - especially with my ...

My Goals:
Looking at 100+ pounds to lose has sidetracked me often...my perfectionism is an issue as well. I am working on realistic goal setting and motivation.



My Program:
I'm following the Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson. This helps me combat my insulin resistance. After 26 years of following "conventional wisdom" to lose weight and ending up at 250+, I'm ready for a change!

You aren't kidding about the food tour!!! Formerly, when I would plan a trip to NOLA I would start thinking about what I was going to eat!! But there are so many wonderful things about that place, I'm sure I will have a great time regardless.
