Keeping things Simple with the NoS diet (except I do count calories)!!

On September 1, 2015, I started a program and here I am 3 months later... still going strong. I started with Portion Control first (cut portions and started counting calories). After about 2 months, I decided to try something more, so I committed to the full NoS Diet concept. So far, so good.

NoS is simple! No Snacks, No sweets, No Seconds. I am enjoying the success I have had since 9/1/15 (~23.4 lbs). I know I need to add more consistent exercise, which is a major challenge for ...

I'm about to get on the treadmill and then lift some weights. Winds picked up to 40mph so I'm going to skip outdoor walking emoticon

Thanks for the support! I was just telling Kristin that I'm feeling really good about how I got in my workouts this week, despite some tough conditions. Snow, very high winds, and one day lots of doctor appts for my husband. With my Garmin Vivoactive Smartwatch and by using my heart rate monitor, on the day we were in town, I'd do brisk walking with my heart rate monitor and was able to get my heart rate up high for long periods of time, to make sure I got in a good workout in town. So rather than coming home from town feeling frustrated from sitting around in waiting rooms, I was able to make sure I was very active and came home feeling like I'd accomplished a lot of good things (including being there to support my husband during his actual doctor's appts).
