So a little background info...

I was medboarded from the Army with a bad back and hip. I went leaving claw marks in the floor as they pulled me out. I was at my lightest weight, 165lbs, doing things physically I didn't think I could ever do. I was in love with me and what I was doing!! Instead of listening to my body signals, I ended up doing damage. I didn't know what core muscles were or that they were soooo important. During the past 7 or so years, I put on 70lbs and was ...

During the past 7 or so years, I put on 70lbs and was able to lose 25 of those pounds. I've been stuck at my current weight for a few years and seem to keep getting in my own way with a few relapses here and there.

Lately, I've learn a great deal about me, and can't wait to begin my journey of becoming a healthier (and maybe lighter than 165lbs) me. It's been an on again off again relationship, but I really want it to work this time around. I have learned that if I follow my body signals I'm able to do more than I was able to before. The relapses aren't nearly as severe now.

I am a huge fan of Turbo Jam and felt that helped with my 25lb weight loss. The tuck she bases her moves on is AMAZING!!! My injuries are well protected while I get a butt kicking workout. I will get back to doing the good old TJ and decide if I should break down and get her two newer programs.

Here's to trying again... Slow and steady for the right reason, an overall healthy new me.
