I'm reading Richard Bernstein MD's "The Diabetes Diet" and recommend it to anyone who is obese as he says all of us have Insulin Resistance and if we don't lose weight we will get Type 2 Diabetes. I have Metabolic Syndrome/Insulin Resistance and I don't want to have it get my heath down.

He has lectures on YouTube that are worth listening to. He has had Type 1 diabetes since he was 12 and he is 78 now.
