Going to lose!!!

I am 25 years old and married to a wonderful man. My weight finally got to the point that I look in a mirror or see a photograph and I see a stranger. I can't keep saying it's a bad angle any more.

After learning about my mom's medical issues due to weight, a house fire, and being diagnosed with PCOS, I am truly ready to lose the pounds. There are no more excuses for doing it later. I need to do this for my health and myself and waiting makes no sense.

It is time to ...

It is time to lose the weight and find me. While PCOS may have helped me gain weight, I also contributed and gave up the fight long ago. Now it is time to lose!

My Goals:
No more soda ever! I've quit a few times and then started again. This time is for good.

Making healtheir dinners, and eating out is going to become a rare thing.

Working out at least 3 times a week for 30 mins each time.

Swing my feet whenever I'm seated at the computer.

My Program:
I plan the weeks healthy dinners out (consulting with my husband so he'll eat them too), taking soup for lunch, chocolate milk for breakfast and low calorie snacks.

Working out a minimum of 3 days a week but trying to do it every day.

Overall just focusing on "do I need that?"

I just read your blog and could really understand what you are feeling. As soon as someone hesitates when I suggest doing something I immediately jump to the conclusion that something is wrong about me. Why do we do that to ourselves?
I have always tried to please everyone and felt shame and guilt when I did not meet their expectations of what they thought I should be or do. I dealt with those feelings by comforting myself with food. I am just learning to deal with the results of that life-long behavior at this late stage of my life. . . but it is NEVER to late to change and grow!
I’m not saying that we should always put ourselves first but that we definitely deserve our place at the front of the line at times! Let’s all “put ourselves first” at least once every day!

“Dedicate yourself to the good you deserve and desire for yourself. Give yourself peace of mind. You deserve to be happy. You deserve delight.”
Mark Victor Hansen

Stay focused on your goals, determined to reach them, and positive that you will!
