Shedding the Fat Suit

I have already started on my path to better eating and a slimmer me. I am going into my fourth week of learning how to run and lifting weights. I have also decreased the amount of calories I consume each day and no longer drink soda, eat dessert and significantly decreased my bread intake. While I have only lost 8 lbs I am determined to get to my goal weight. I am here at SparkPeople to put a spark into my health plan!

My Goals:
Now that I am past 40 and it's not as easy to lose weight like it once was in my 20s and 30s my goal now is to lose my 50 pounds while learning how to eat healthy and to incorporate exercise in my everyday life.

My Program:
This is my weekly schedule:

Sunday: AM Run
Mon, Wed, Fri: AM Run and lift weights
Tues, Thurs, Sat: AM/PM Run
