Just discovered the site today. I really enjoy the points earning facet and look forward to making friends and getting and giving support. I have 58 pounds to lose to my goal.

I am married, 4 kids, 6 grandkids, and one dog. I am diabetic and have several other health problems that helped motivate me to find this site. I lost 23 pounds earlier this year but have gained part of it back.

Worry over the future breeds anxiety. Fretting over the past breeds depression. Both can stop our good movement forward and put us in front of the TV with a bad movie and too much of the stuff we don’t need to put into our bodies. That horrid cycle, of course, breeds regret and dread that brings us to more of the same. I believe that is called “insanity”.

Instead work to stay in the present taking the next step needed for living to the full the “now” that is before you, having learned better ways from past experience and pushing forward with hope that right action now will produce a better tomorrow. This is living life with power that produces a good outcome and protects our journey from wasting away.

Plan for the future, yes; but let the first plan be to live your best you in the now you have to possess.

The remodeling is really slow. He has the roof done but is adding a second roof later of metal. When we took off the old paneling inside there was no insulation and not enough support in the walls so he is redoing it. It needs more wiring. He has the biggest wall and got rid of 2 windows we didn't want and redid the 2 windows and he has the wall with the door almost done but we are getting a new door. I am looking forward to getting to the aesthetic part.
