Too often we set our goals too high, then get overwhelmed and end up quitting. Take it one step at a time, one day at a time. It may be slow, but we will get to our destination and feel wonderful about ourselves........THAT'S WHAT WE WANT!!!!

Hope you have a terrific Thursday. I'm gonna try to get the rest of my shopping done today, only 2 more gifts to buy. Then get it all wrapped, so I can start on the baking. That's the hardest part for me.....I love baking, but I love eating it too. emoticon So glad that most of it won't be staying in my house.

Thanks for the blog comment. My dad was a teacher years ago and has a lifetime credential and now he spends his time working as a substitute teacher. He has done lots of sub work in special needs classes and is the one that told me I should apply for the para jobs. After 9 months of applying I am finally getting my foot in the door, at least a little!

I used to coach pee wee football (7-10) and spent a year working with psychiatric patients in a locked down facility. So I have a little experience (not exactly the same, but fairly close) going in. Besides, I know a lot of working with these kids is having patience, and while patience with myself is nonexistent, my patience with others is pretty good. :)

Thank you for the goodie and the very kind comments, they are appreciated. Life throws us all curve balls, we just have to find the right ones to swing at and connect with. I've found in my life that when I can't count on anything else, I can always count on life being screwy!
