my goal is better health, and a more fit, toned, in shape, more flexible, powerful, athletic, positive, full of energy... ROCKIN' body!

I am 46 years old. i am 193 pounds, but not for long! i know this is a lifetime change, and i am ready to commit! i obviously have to do something about my health and weight, cuz i don't have a magic wand to wave the pounds away!

i work 13 hour shifts at a hospital, so when i get home, i am so tired. hard to find strength to do ...

i work 13 hour shifts at a hospital, so when i get home, i am so tired. hard to find strength to do family things, housework AND work out. i am a perfectionist, which makes it hard, when i screw up (which is more often than i would like).

i tore my ACL, and other knee damage a few years ago, and i still have a mental wall that prevents me from the "animal edge" i used to have... and getting older makes it more of a challenge, too. i have never had so much support as i do here on sparks, i know i can achieve my goals here with all my friends! i hope i can help others reach their goals, also.

I am doing karate twice a week.. doing workout/yoga videos 2-3 times a week. today's date, 1-2-14
my begin weight is 193.0 lb
goal weight 145.0 lb by July 2, 2014.

do plank for 2 minutes, and shikodashi for 2 mins. do 50 push ups and 3 clap push ups, and 30 crunches in 2 min...

cut and color my hair ...

hair trimmed and colored again if needed

so, by the end of the year, i will be at my ultimate healthy, ideal weight. it isn't just about the pounds being gone, but the muscle gained and being toned and defined also. what a great Christmas present to myself! and a great way to start 2014!

A note to myself. Thought I would share! take your vitamins, eat your fruits and veggies, drink lots of water, exercise and get plenty of rest. These things will help keep you healthy during these cold winter months. emoticon emoticon
