On the Road Again
I've been on SparkPeople since the end of 2007, and in 2011 I'm using it once again to make my comeback! My highest recorded weight ever was 210 pounds, and I struggled on my own for a few months before discovering S*P and signing up. My starting weight at my 19th birthday in 2007 was 195 pounds, and I reached 160 by summer 2008. After that, I briefly bounced down to 151 pounds before holding steady at 155 for maybe 8 months or so. Now it's a few stressful, busy years ...
Now it's a few stressful, busy years later and I've put pretty much all the weight back on. After a hellish year finishing my undergrad degree, participating in my bro-in-law's wedding, traveling to see long-distance friends, and getting very little sleep, I found myself at 194lbs and PANICKED. I never wanted to be one of the 95%, but here I am. I hope that with getting back to using S*P and taking baby steps back into healthy habits, I'll be able to take the weight off once more and nudge myself into the 5% for life. Starting weight: 195 lbs on Aug 1, 2011. Goals: -183 lbs by Oct 18, 2011 (my 2.5 yr anniversary) -175 lbs by Dec 27, 2011 (my 4 year S*Pversary!) I'll set more goals as time passes. It's going to be an interesting year!
