Just Move

I know Just Move seems like a weird title for a personal page but it's a reminder for me to do just do some sort of activity every day that involves something other than going to work or the typical household chores. Just move--just find time here or there to get some activity in because I'm worth it and my body is worth it. People talk about feeling grateful or blessed not to be paralyzed in some way but if that's the case, what's the excuse for not using and moving our limbs for something ...
I know Just Move seems like a weird title for a personal page but it's a reminder for me to do just do some sort of activity every day that involves something other than going to work or the typical household chores. Just move--just find time here or there to get some activity in because I'm worth it and my body is worth it. People talk about feeling grateful or blessed not to be paralyzed in some way but if that's the case, what's the excuse for not using and moving our limbs for something other than trips to the refrigerator or to shovel food into our mouth?
One day it hit me that if I didn't make a health change, God may decide I don't need or value the use my limbs and decide i don't need them since I'm not really using them to their full compacity--not as a punishment but just because I don't seem to need or want them because I'm not using them.
Since that realization, i have upped my moving and tracked my eating and fitness through spark people and lost 18 pounds and finally created a spark page.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my "☼I Did It! -50lbs with SparkPeople!☼" Blog. I really appreciate you taking the time to celebrate with me! I seem to have to modes 'Silence' and T.M.I.
