Putting my ass to the grindstone

I lost 50 lbs in a matter of months, got married while my weight was at it's lowest. Since then, it has slowly (and sometimes sky rocketed!) back through the roof. we want to start a family and I am in no way shape or form ready to start a family at my current weight. That alone, will be my inspiration.

My husband and I have finally planned our honeymoon for next September..... I would love to be 190 again..... but I can't help but want to strut around cancun in a bikini...... :S

My Goals:
Wow, I think my biggest goal is to be able to do this and being able to keep the right mentality all the way through and not let myself backtrack into old habits. I want to lose weight, but I just want to be healthy and strong.

My Program:
Trying to stay between 1200-1500 calories a day, drinking at least eight, 8 oz glasses of water.... and trying out the 17 day diet first, and we will go from there!

Other Information:
I work a full and part time job, both on the ambulance, and I'm a volunteer on our fire dept. The 17DD is proving success but very challenging on shift days......................... but I've never backed down from a challenge ;)

Hey girl, how is it going? Haven't heard much from you and thought I would check it to see what's up.

Hey good to hear from you. About your husband losing his belly, a friend of mine once told me that all men had to do was walk by a treadmill and they would lose 10 pounds whereas we ladies really have to work for it. It was quite funny at the time, but whenever my husband and I lose together, he is always way out in front. Such is life.

How is p90x going for you?

Laurie

Thanks for your comment on my page! I would definitely recommend p90x for real people. I probably won't look like a fitness model when it's done, but it has taught me a lot.

I thought I would stop by and see how things were going with you. I know you have plans to go to Cancun in Sept 2012. You have given yourself lots of time to make things happen and I wish you all the luck.

I have been very busy this fall with remodeling projects, company and taking a couple of night classes. Don't know what I was thinking when I signed up for them as I was looking forward to things getting more quite after the remodeling and all the company left. Maybe I just like to be too busy deep down.
