It's little ole me! (the little part to follow...tho I'm a tad bit closer now!)

Joininf the 2013 Spring into Summer
5% Challenge! It starts soon and I am really excited!! I need to be consistent. I need to lose this weight (around 50 pounds) because it saps my energy and strength trying to lug me around!! I also have found some of my old clothes that were stored that I really love and they'll never fit me till I get to or under 150 and some not till considerably smaller!I might find some I can already get into. I'm down to a 12/14 on the loose side!! I'm ...

I'm headed for 115 pounds and if I'd really been working these past couple of years, I think I should have been there by now!!! Or a heck of alot closer than this!! So, help me if you can and kick my tushie daily!!
Gotta do this and nobody can do it for me! Gotta "make it happen"!!!!
. Gonna work my butt off to make at least 5% if not more! Gonna walk the dog (20-30 minutes each day, weather permitting), and get in some workout when walking isn't possible. I will keep to my nutrition tracker. Gotta be consistant and persistant to a fault!!! CLOVERLEAFs are awesome, but I have been invited to join the CATS for this challenge!! I want to be a good teammate and will check in with my team as often as possible and will huddle every day! I will weigh in every Saturday morning and post it, and I will track my nutrition and fitness daily, post exercise minutes and LTGL daily to my team and help bring in my wonderful CAT's to the top 3 each week!! ( Can you tell I'm a bit competitive??)

Scale is dusted off....(I weigh every Sat.)
Exercise clothes and gym bag are ready to go.
Pedometer is ready to go.
Water bottle ready.
Exercise plan is in place.
Diet consisting of lean meats (or some kind of good protein), lots of freggies and fiber and try harder to drink water.
Will track daily and huddle with my team daily.
I want to lose this weight for the following reasons:
1) health
2) Get back to the weight I should be!
3) Being barely over 5', I should be about 50 pounds lighter for optimum health and well-being.
4) To wear nicer clothes and look better in them!
5) To save my knees and hips and back!
6) To feel normal and confident again!

I am fortunate that I really have no "trigger" foods. That is to say, if I DO eat a "no-no" food, it doesn't get me off track. I will mindfully eat said "no-no" food (a small amt.) and stay right on track beyond that. I don't throw in the towel for the day or week, etc. That's one of the best things I have reaped from SP over the last few years.
So here's the update! If I start to sound lazy or gripey, kick my tush!!!
You gals and guys are the best!!! Thanks SPARKGUY for creating this fabulous place for all the great people here!!
Here I go in the 2013 Spring into Summer 5% challenge. Have dropped out of the 170's into the lower 160's. Gonna work harder, do my best to be consistent and keep at the lower end of my calorie range! Have plans for better movement. I have a hefty goal in mind this time, so pray for my success!!! Working to hit the mid 150's for my birthday at the 18th of July, or at the very least by challenge end. I'm getting rid of this 5% this time! At Least! Let's do this, my SParky friends!

Me, too. I wouldn't hesitate to use that if a mad dog was coming at me, LOL! It is probably more effective than a stick, because if you hit the dog with the spray, he wouldn't be coming at you anytime again, soon! emoticon

There is always something adorable about baby animals. I opened the door today and they are so happy!
Rain tomorrow so I wonder how happy they will be.

You are welcome! You know, I walk up and down our country road, and there is a bad dog at the end of the road. He runs out and barks ferociously and rushes me! I used to take a whip after him (horsewhip) but thank goodness he never got within range. His owner came out once and hollered at me for swinging a whip at him, and the dog was on the road, NOT on their property! So, I no longer carry the whip. Instead, I carry that wasp spray that shoots 20 feet! I figure if he gets off his property again and comes after me, I can aim for his eyes at 20 feet! People should keep their dogs contained if they are vicious......... emoticon

So glad the bite is healing. You are probably right about the guy who owns the dog. Has the city done anything about the dog? I gather it is a repeat offender? emoticon

We're doing good here. The weather has been nice. What's on your agenda for the rest of the week?
