It's little ole me! (the little part to follow...tho I'm a tad bit closer now!)

Joined the 2015 Winter 5% Challenge! It starts soon and I am really excited!! I need to be consistent. I need to lose this weight because it saps my energy and strength trying to lug me around!! I'm down to a sz 12/14 !! I'm ultimately headed for 115 pounds and if I'd really been working these past couple of years, I think I should have been there by now!!! Or a heck of alot closer than this!! So, help me if you can and kick my tushie daily!!
Gotta do this and nobody can ...

Gotta do this and nobody can do it for me! Gotta "make it happen"!!!!
. Gonna work my butt off to make at least 5% if not more! Gonna walk 20-30 minutes each day, and get in some workout when walking isn't possible. I will get to the gym 3X's/week for circuits & use the treadmill when I cannot get out and walk or have a walking partner. I will keep to my nutrition tracker. I have asked DH to do more cooking from "The Spark Solution) b/c I really don't like to cook and he does. Gotta be consistant and persistant to a fault!!! CLOVERLEAFs are awesome!! I want to be a good teammate and will check in with my team as often as possible. I will weigh in every Saturday morning and post it, and I will track my nutrition and fitness daily, post exercise minutes and LTGL daily to my team and help bring in my wonderful CLOVERLEAF's to the top 3 each week!! ( Can you tell I'm a bit competitive??)

Scale is dusted off....(I weigh every Sat.)
Exercise clothes and gym bag are ready to go.
Water bottle ready.
Exercise plan is in place.
Diet consisting of lean meats (or some kind of good protein), lots of freggies and fiber and try harder to drink water. Will cook & eat Chef Meg's recipes as often as possible.
Will track daily andvisit with my team.
I want to lose this weight for the following reasons:
1) health
2) Get back to the weight I should be!
3) Being barely over 5', I should be much lighter for optimum health and well-being.
4) To wear nicer clothes and look better in them!
5) To save my knees and hips and back!
6) To feel normal and confident again!

I am fortunate that I really have no "trigger" foods. That is to say, if I DO eat a "no-no" food, it doesn't get me off track. I will mindfully eat said "no-no" food (a small amt.) and stay right on track beyond that. I don't throw in the towel for the day or week, etc. That's one of the best things I have reaped from SP over the last few years. ( I have lately, however, been caing to my sugar addiction, so will be working diligently on that, too. So here's the update! If I start to sound lazy or gripey, kick my tush!!!
You gals and guys are the best!!! Thanks SPARKGUY for creating this fabulous place for all the great people here!!
Here I go in the 2015 Winter 5% challenge. Gonna work harder, do my best to be consistent and keep at the lower end of my calorie range! Have plans for better movement. I have a hefty goal in mind this time, so pray for my success!!! I'm getting rid of this 5% this time! At Least! Let's do this, my SParky friends!

That picture is taken of our porch and view at our cabin in the No. Ga. Mtns. We love it up there and it is hard not to just want to sit on the porch and rock all day!! So relaxing and stress free!!

Thanks for taking the time to read & comment on my blog, "Thinking Ahead".

You know, when I started SparkPeople so long ago, this wasn't even a thought in my brain. Then, after having been here awhile, it *was* a thought in my brain BUT didn't act on it & after the fact, would beat myself with a club {so to speak}.

Now I'm to a place in my travels toward a healthier me that not only do I plan ahead but actually ACT on those plans. btw, I did go over my self*imposed limit last night ~ however, I simply doubled my fitness for today and will do likewise on Monday.

Hope you have a great week!

Marie

There is a way you can get rid of the superfsh. A link came with my AVG, but I couldn't include that with my blog. Google on how to get rid of it. Good luck!

Thanks for the vote of confidence, my friend. It is so much fun for me to use words to suit my purpose, and March is a tough month for most of us -- wanting spring, but it's not here yet; feeling sluggish after a few months of winter; just a case of the blah's in general. So you need a little extra push to get through March!

For us, here in Arizona, March can mean the beginning of spring. I have seen all the apricot trees in bloom (silly trees, their blooms will most likely freeze in the high elevations) and of course the flowering plums are beautiful in all their glory. My peach tree, young though it is, is showing signs of 'thinking about budding out' and that will be enough to tickle me for the day. It's funny, when I point out these things to my DH, he assures me he has already made note of it, so I guess he is even more observant than I. Oh well -- these signs assure me that spring is just around the corner.

I started out the month on the 6th at 134, last day of the month had me at 134.8 and there were a few ups and downs, but I'm happy to be under the 135 mark -- it's sort of reaching a goal for me!

Hope you have a happy last-day-of-the-month and get in some steps!

(((((Hugs))))) Eve emoticon
