You can't weigh beauty

This page has been lying for several months.
I did make it to my lowest weight, but then several bad things happened one after the other, it felt like my life was falling apart, and suddenly eating was the only thing I had any control over. So of course I used that control to eat as much as I wanted of whatever I wanted.

I'm not quite back to where I started, but a lot closer than I ever wanted to be again.

So here are my new stats and goals:

I'm not quite back to where I started, but a lot closer than I ever wanted to be again.

So here are my new stats and goals:
Start weight (03.07.14) - 11 stone 10, 164 lbs
Next target weight - 11 stone 7, 161 lbs by 20.07.14
End goal weight - 10 stone, 140 lbs

My plan at the moment is to get through 30 Day Shred (I'm on day 15) right to the end for once.
After that my timetable will be:
Sunday - Kettlebells and swim
Monday - Bodyweight circuit
Tuesday - Run and swim (with kizomba class every other week)
Wednesday - Kettlebells and salsa class
Thursday - Run and swim
Friday - Swim
Saturday - Long run and swim

Non-scale goals:
1. Finish 30 Day Shred.
2. Run 5K in less than 35 minutes
3. Do 10 press ups

And a plan would be nothing without rewards:
159 (5lbs down) - A new book
154 (10lbs down) - Some pretty earrings
149 (15lbs down) - A new vintage dress
144 (20 lbs down) - Some new shoes from a proper shoe shop
140 GOAL WEIGHT! - Book teapot.

More exercise.
Track EVERYTHING that goes in my mouth.
Put more water in my mouth.

Just a little progress

Even just a little progress, is progress. Even the smallest step forward is very much worth taking, because it maintains a positive momentum.

If you’re not moving ahead as fast as you’d like, don’t get discouraged. Get creative, get inspired, get focused and get truly enthusiastic about the direction you’re going.

Then, take the next step, and keep yourself moving steadily toward the goal. Remind yourself that even when you’re going slowly, you’re going solidly in the direction you’ve chosen.

Yes, the setbacks will certainly come, and when they do, you’ll know exactly how to quickly recover because you’ve been doing it all along. Get back up, face forward, and take the next step.

Even if it were possible, you wouldn’t want all your dreams to be fulfilled at once. It’s far more satisfying to savor each milestone as it comes, and to know that there will be many more.

Spend this day celebrating, enjoying and making use of your chance to make a little progress. Feel how great it feels to continue moving forward.
