You most certainly do hear Rocky music playing in the background!!! Can I just tell you... Two days later my calves felt like I power lifted a school bus using only my calf muscles. Craziness! In all seriousness though, my little random victory couldn't have come at a better time. I was right at a point where I needed to SEE some progress to be encouraged with staying strong believing that my efforts would pay off. And it really did give me a much needed injection of patience. I now know my walking is producing results. I'm not even sure when I will try to do that again regularly. I tried today and failed miserably. The great thing is, it doesn't matter. I have "proof" that I am headed in the right direction and am reaping rewards, even when I can't always see it. Anyhow, thanks so much for stopping by and reading my blog. Your journey is definitely on my go-to inspiration list. Take care and keep
Listened to your radio segment. It was great! My dream is to spread a love of fitness to all of those that have been marginalized from triathlon and running because of their weight, you do that everyday here on Spark (and I'm sure in your community as well.)
I wanted to stop by and thank you for being an inspiration for me. I think it's kicking in! I started blogging for the first time last week, and somehow writing about the beginning of this journey is helping me out.
Congratulations on your presentation. Keep up the great work!
