I dig your shift work observation -- "be resourceful and score your victories where you can". That's an excellent way to put it. Things don't always balance out according to a 9-5 lifestyle, so you adapt and persevere. Giving up or giving in doesn't have to be the only option; it definitely isn't mine. :)
Did you give that presentation yet? Sounds pretty cool. Who was it for? I'd love to hear more about or even read a transcript, if you have it written out.
Hey there! Thanks for thinking of me. I just started training for a 5K that I have coming up in March, but before that I had really lost focus and was completely off my game. I started a new job which I LOVE and I'm one semester away from FINALLY finishing my degree so my focus has been on other things, but I swear the whole time I have missed running very much. It's been a few years now though since I started and I still love the pain, love the races, and have many, many goals to achieve in my racing endeavers =D
